Chronicle Approval ✍️📜
Before a new month begins, the Chronicle system prepares five complete proposals. Each proposal includes a unique name, a short funny sentence, and one to three paragraphs of lore.
The proposals are intentionally varied:
- two dramatic
- two dramatic-and-funny
- one playful
Because even a doomed kingdom deserves options. 👑💀
What approval means
Approving a Chronicle selects the official name and lore package for the upcoming month. The approval is recorded with the authorized administrator, timestamp, package identity, and revision history.
Once a Chronicle becomes active, its approved name is locked. It cannot quietly wake up on Tuesday with a new identity and sunglasses.
What approval does not mean
Chronicle approval does not:
- upload a Bedrock world
- approve a staged world package
- activate the Chronicle
- stop or restart BDS
- enable PvP
- ring The Last Bell
- replace the current world
Those actions live behind their own safety gates.
Automatic fallback
If no eligible proposal is approved by the protected fallback checkpoint, the server may select one valid proposal automatically. Invalid, rejected, stale, historically conflicting, or reused Chronicle names are excluded.
If no safe proposal exists, the system fails closed. It does not invent a name from the nearest enchanted hat. 🎩
